Darlene Koldenhoven, B.M.Ed, M.M. Voice, APP Practitioner, NLP Practitioner

Comfortable working with all ages from infants to elderly, Darlene brings her enthusiasm and love of the work to every session and enjoys bringing the energy of music to all people with a desire to nourish their ear, brain, body, and voice to live a vital life. Helping people is a lifelong passion of hers with many life experiences that make her uniquely qualified to do so. In matters of the voice and the ear, Darlene Koldenhoven has been immersed in the study and practice of vibration, sound, music, singing and speech, from a very early age. Starting with the birth of her only sibling at age 9 who was born deaf with no ears, Darlene's introduction to the integrated world of how we hear through air and bone conduction and learning to speak and sing through feeling vibration, set in motion a lifelong curiosity and study into the ear-brain-voice-body connection. Ms. Koldenhoven's degrees are Bachelor of Music Education, magna cum laude and Masters in Voice, magna cum laude from Chicago Conservatory College. Her Certifications are in APP (Audio-Psycho-Phonology) from Integrated Listening System in Denver, Colorado and NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) from Hypnosis Motivational Institute in Tarzana, California. Ms. Koldenhoven holds a Lifetime California Teaching Credential. . .
